Old bikes. New bikes. Done properly.

Stanley’s is built around a simple idea: inspect the motorcycle, explain the evidence, agree on the work, then finish it with verification.

How the workshop works
Motorcycle workshop

Preserve what matters. Rebuild what doesn’t.

Some motorcycles need a recommissioning. Others need to come apart. The first job is deciding which one you actually have.

Explore restoration

No mystery between drop-off and pickup.

The motorcycle moves through a defined sequence and the owner knows when approval is needed.

01

Intake

Year, model, condition, history, symptoms and what the owner wants from the bike.

02

Inspect

Baseline checks and evidence before parts, teardown or deeper diagnosis.

03

Approve

Scope and estimated labor are discussed before the job grows.

04

Repair

Mechanical work is carried out to the approved scope with notes where decisions matter.

05

Verify

Function checks, road test when appropriate, leak inspection and final handover notes.

Old systems and new systems fail differently.

A 1960s ignition problem and a modern EFI fault may share a symptom, but not a diagnostic path.

1950

Mechanical simplicity

Carburetors, points ignition, cable-operated controls, drum brakes and systems that reward patient mechanical inspection.

Tell us what the bike is doing.

Year, make, model, symptoms and recent work are more useful than a long description of what you think the part might be.
